Revegetation Industry Seminar in Perth, WA Nov 9 and 10 2009

The Revegetation Industry Association of WA (RIAWA) is holding it's "Revegetation - Challenges and Solutions" Seminar on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 of November 2009.  The theme for day 1 is "Planning the future in a changing climate".  The theme for day 2 is "Setting and maintaining industry standards". 

Some speakers and topics that may be of interest to native seed practitioners include:

David Merritt - Analysis of critical issues in seed resource management for rehabilitation programs.
Bernard McLean - Seed collection and revegetation - challenges and successes.
Richard Hobbs - Revegetation for the future: making decisions in an increasingly uncertain world.
Ann Smithson - Seed sourcing for restoration - the importance of collecting seeds from local and non-fragmented populations.
Penny Atkinson - Florabank - Working with industry to address identified issues in the restoration sector.
Geoff Woodall - Improving the technique of direct seeding in the Wheatbelt of WA.
